Trauma Informed Volunteering

Join our Unfaulted Staff for our Trauma-Informed Volunteering class, where you will gain insight into what it looks like to volunteer with our organization while being trauma-informed. Studies show that trauma affects the brain in various ways, including developmentally. Keeping this in mind, Unfaulted strives to equip our volunteers with the knowledge, tools, and resources to effectively impact those we serve. In this class, you will learn how trauma affects an individual mentally and emotionally, along with some examples of ways we have seen members affected. 

Pre-requisite: Unfaulted Volunteer Orientation

If you have attended Unfaulted Orientation and are ready to take your next steps in volunteering, please sign up to attend Trauma Informed Volunteering. This event will be held at Fellowship of the Parks – Haslet campus inside the children/student building.
