Foster Care isn’t what it may seem. It can be hectic and chaotic sometimes. It wasn’t a good place or anything I would wish on any child.
As an adult, some of the benefits I have received because of my time in foster care, have helped me become successful.
When I joined Unfaulted, they helped me get on the right path after foster care. They have helped connect me with aftercare benefits from foster care. I am working on my GED so that I can attend college and use the tuition waiver offered by the state for former foster youth.
But, what they’ve really done has given me a path to success in life. My forever family prays for me and checks in with me to make sure that I’m okay. They brought me into their home and loved me.
I feel good about myself now, and I know that what Unfaulted’s done for me is UNFORGETTABLE. I’ll never forget.
